FAR Center for the Contemporary Arts
DBI members David and Martha Moore of Pictura Gallery are busy working on the renovation of a century old building at the corner of 4th and Rogers. The building will open in April as the FAR Center for the Contemporary Arts, and it will house Pictura Gallery—but also much more. Click here for the full BLOOM Magazine Cover Article.

OEI, Inc.'s Restoration Project
Daniel Oh of OEI Inc., owner of 105-111 S Walnut Street and 100 E Kirkwood Avenue (SEC of Kirkwood and Walnut), is in the process of completing a historic restoration of the properties. These landmark buildings have been largely covered with white aluminum siding since the late 1940’s.
Mr. Oh has been working with the Bloomington Historic Preservation Commission to develop a plan that will return the exterior to a finish that is aesthetically appealing, historically appropriate, and beneficial to the underlying structure. The project is scheduled for completion by summer of 2018 and will bring new life and beauty to this prominent corner of our Courthouse Square!
